Fantastic property vacationGuest: Karen S. Rating: 5 out of 5 This was our first experience renting directly from an owner. We were parents with adult children their spouses, girlfriends and a toddler. We had a fantastic experience! The property was beautiful. The owner was awesome to work with and the property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. If you are thinking of a visit to St Croix this is the place to stay! You will not be disappointed!!! Best Paradise Vacation Home!Guest: Anonymous Rating: 5 out of 5 Customer service was excellent with Austin calling in advance of our arrival informing us he would be at the airport to meet us. He was there and was easy to find since he provided us with a description of what he would be wearing; as we had a rental vehicle Austin led us to the house. Upon arriving at the house Adele was there with welcome drinks and snacks; there was also a dish prepared that our group of 8 was able to share for dinner our first night. Adele and Austin took the time to show us the house along with providing information to ensure we had an enjoyable vacation. The house and amenities were exactly as described in the listing along with being clean, well equipped, and better than expected. If you enjoy grilling there is no better place than the 1493 Bar & Grill overlooking the sea (although one person in our group still thinks it is the ocean); words can not describe this feeling! The location of the house is perfect if you want to get out and enjoy the island as it is an easy drive to all the island has to offer. Great breeze and amazing views. Pool was big. Chef Juliana is a delight! The beach access was not as easy as we had hoped but still within walking distance. We were four couples in our late sixties who chose to spend most of our time at the Villa. And why not? We enjoyed hanging out around the pool, cooking, grilling, reading books and enjoying each other's company. I think the best feature was the covered porch by the kitchen and living room, which had ample, really comfortable chairs overlooking the pool and water. From there we viewed a full moon, and since my eyes are not perfect, it seemed to me it was full for THREE nights. You don't have to be young to enjoy this place - young at heart is good enough! A wonderful vacation spot with friends!Guest: Big O Rating: 5 out of 5 Four couples (college buddies plus our wives) traveled from various parts of the U.S. for a long awaited reunion. Villa Santa Cruz was the perfect spot! The right mix if laid-back down time combined with enough activities to make us feel like we accomplished something. The Villa is beautiful: comfortably furnished, well-appointed, comfortable beds and great amenities. The Bar & Grill by the pool the perfect spot for evening cocktails and snacks. We did not want to leave. And no trip would be complete without a visit from Juliana and her husband, Austin. They catered 3 of our meals and each one was better than the last. Rating: 5 out of 5 There were 11 of us..... 8 adults, then a 15 yr. old 10yr. old & 7 month old. this house was plenty big enough for all of us. The game room with the pool table was used every evening! There wasn't much of a "beach" but perfect for fishing or shell searching. The beach we found was the rainbow Beach. It is beautiful and nice for snorkeling also. We Were there for Thanksgiving so the beach was not crowded at all but could see it being very busy during the high season. We had 2 cars so we were able to get around but we stayed around the house & pool for the most part. We would stay here again but maybe get out to visit the other islands. We did not take our passports because we stayed on the US side, but was advised to have passports next time. We had birth certificates for the 10 yr. & 7 month old just in case & had to show them upon leaving at the airport. Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers. It was the best family vacation we have had. The home was fabulous. It had everything and more than we expected. We could have stayed at the Villa for the entire vacation. The beauty of St Croix was a bonus. The staff were amazing and helped to make everything perfect. If you chose Santa Cruz Villa be sure to taste Julianna's cooking. Heaven in St CroixGuest: Anonymous Rating: 5 out of 5 Villa Santa Cruz was everything anyone could want on a vacation. The Villa is right on the water. You listen to waves, see sting rays, load of shells and coral, birds, pelicans, iguanas. This is a place to relax and enjoy the home and weather. The Villa is warm and inviting and comes with many amenities. Beaches, stores and restaurants close to Villa. The owner had treats and sweets for us upon arrival with a driver at the airport to show us to the Villa. Juliana is available to prepare great meals for you if you prefer. We loved hearing the waves, looking at the iguanas, birds, sting rays and stars! The villa was everything the reviews posted. Clean, comfortable furniture and bedding and plenty of kitchenware for those who want to cook! The house is close to town and stores and restaurants. Very convenient. Would love to visit again!! The property was clean and very well maintained. All questions were promptly by the property manager, owner or caretaker. (West Palm Beach, Florida) Rating: 5 out of 5 6 adults and 2 kids fit in this luxury home very comfortably. All the pictures you see are exactly what you get. Great beach to snorkel and kayak off of. There is a lot of coral and sea urchins, so come prepared and enjoy the beauty. We had an escort from the airport, food and drink waiting for us on arrival, and a complete tour of the home. The villa is close to everything and easy to get to. We couldn't have asked for anything nicer. Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, sightseeing. What you see in these pictures is what you get, no photo shopping here. We were close to everything and could snorkel and kayak right of the beach. It is rocky and there are sea urchins, come prepared, so you can enjoy it. Austin met us at the airport and escorted to the villa. We had a delicious meal and snacks waiting for us on arrival all made by Juliana. Adele gave us the tour. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. It would be hard to find another vacation rental home that compares. The location is perfect, the house is spectacular and the owners of the home do so many little things prior to your arrival that makes the vacation that much more special. Overall, this is a 5 star home in paradise. I have stayed in many places, on many different islands and Villa Santa Cruz is at the top of the list of outstanding vacation locations. Rating: 5 out of 5 This home is amazing. It's a very upscale, luxurious home with plenty of space for a large family like ours. The views from every room were amazing and the pool was large, clean and refreshing. The caretaker, Adelle, was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived Adelle was there to greet us and had made delicious food, which was much appreciated since we had hungry children. Of all the vacations we've been on (Hawaii, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico) this was by-far our favorite spot! We could have spent the entire vacation just enjoying this home and it's terrific accommodations and pool. We loved being close to Salt River since our son lives on his boat there, and the Salt River beach is so private we felt like it was put there just for us. This home was in a gated area but was easy to get in and out of. We love St. Croix and plan on many more visits in the future. This home made us feel like we were spoiled royalty, we hope we can stay there again soon! Luxury Family GetawayGuest: Rick P. Rating: 5 out of 5 After arriving a day late due to airline problems we were ready to just relax. We were met at the airport and assisted with our luggage and then led to the villa. At the villa we were met at the door by Adelle and shown the house. To our surprise there was food in the fridge and a cooked meal ready to be reheated. (Had we been on time a hot meal would have been ready for us). All the staples were supplied as well as some beer, fruit juices and a bottle of rum! NO NEED TO GO SHOPPING IMMEDIATELY!! The villa was beautiful. The master suite overlooked the Caribbean and opened to the upstairs veranda. All of the bedrooms were well stocked with towels, soaps, shampoo and lotion and were beautifully furnished. The great room is a fantastic place to just relax if you don't want to be outside. When our kids and grandchildren arrived on Tuesday we had 9 people in the house including a 1 year old. You would never know it had we not all been in the dining area at one time. The place is so well designed and constructed as to be almost soundproof. The hit of the villa was the pool. All of the kids, especially the 1 year old, just loved it. (As did we adults). We had a great time both in the villa and exploring the island. The kids went snorkeling and spearfishing and just exploring. My wife and I spent a lot of quiet time in the villa and also explored the island. Two weeks just wasn't enough time. When it came time to leave it seemed as though we had just arrived. My wife talks daily about the great time she had and how beautiful the villa is. This is one place that I would recommend 100% and would not hesitate to return to in the future. Island RetreatGuest: Kathy (KC, MO) Rating: 5 out of 5 Villa Santa Cruz is a fantastic island home. We have rented many villas over the last 12 years and believe that this has been the best. There were so many gracious touches: the fresh cut flowers, Juliana's "taste of the island" appetizers, wine, beer, rum and coffee upon arrival. Other thoughtful inclusions were soaps, moisturizers, robes, travel brochures, directions to restaurants and tourist locations in addition to many other well-stocked supplies. Enjoy!!!
